Delegated Authority. A scoped, attributable, time-bounded grant that lets an actor perform specific consequential work on behalf of a principal, platform, policy, or accountable human. Delegated authority is not ambient permission and not model confidence: it must name who granted the authority, who may exercise it, what actions it covers, which policy constrains it, when it expires, how it can be revoked, and what evidence must be preserved when it is used.
