Eval Gate. A governed promotion boundary that prevents a model, corpus, prompt policy, classifier, connector, or configuration from entering production until required evaluation suites pass.
An eval gate is a specialized quality gate for runtime intelligence and governed automation. It names the test suites, pass criteria, evidence, and owner for promotion. A confidence gate decides what to do with a particular output; an eval gate decides whether the underlying model, corpus, or control configuration is allowed to ship.
